The Sundress, made to wear with 587 The Cropped Shirt. A perfect combination for the beach and afterwards. The pattern is intentionally loose, will slip on over the head. Make it in pure, soft drape linen. Throw it on over your swimsuit and you are ready for all day on the beach.
I used pure linen from Croft Mill Fabric. It is called Palms Navy Linen although it is mostly green! It is 59"/150cm wide
The skirt of this pattern is wide and has grown on pockets to make it an easy make. This means if you are using narrower yardage you will need to cut with the fabric open as a single layer. For large sizes you may need to cut the pockets separately and perhaps have a centre seam. Everything is explained in the PDF Instructions.
