This pattern is very popular with dancers but equally useful as a dress that fits any occasion.
The secret to the lovely flowing shape is that the front is cut on the fold but the back has a little more flare so there is a centre back seam.
It's very easy to make. Just sew the side seams and shoulder seams with an overlocker or regular sewing machine.
This dress works best with a synthetic jersey. Look for something that is fine and drapes well.
This original pattern does not include cutting out layouts or a guide to fabric requirements. All later patterns include all the features of any other commercially available pattern.
