How to Add a Sleeve Vent to the Cuff of a Tailored Jacket

 

I am finishing the cuff with a buttoned vent before attaching the sleeve to the bodice. It is based on the classic vent technique used in the back seam of skirts and jackets. See the full video for Sewing a Back Vent in a Pencil Skirt.

Add buttons and buttonholes or dummy buttonholes to complete the look.
